Why have a Student Practice session?
Practice times are set up to provide students an opportunity to give and receive Reiki. It is also an opportunity for
students to connect with others in their community to share experiences, ask questions and practice their skills.
Another term for Student Practice is Reiki Share or Reiki Exchange.
Not all Reiki Shares are operated in the same way. Some shares are more of a social event with a little Reiki practice and
a time for socializing (with or without food). Other shares are strictly business, students come to practice everyone gets a
Reiki session and then go home.
Some shares are only open to students taught by that Reiki Master, others are open to all students and some are open to the general public. Practices times are set by the Teacher so mornings, afternoon or evening gatherings are possible.
The structure of my Reiki Share/ Student Practice time is a blending of all these elements, however without the food.
It is open to the public - guests get to get on the Reiki table first. ☺ Students of all styles and their teachers are most welcome.
Practice or Reiki shares~Exchanges have been cancelled due to a flood at OM Sweet Om
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Class Schedules
As with Reiki shares, class schedules are set by the Reiki Master or Teacher.
The classes are an informal affair, wearing comfortable clothes in order to work and stretch your body with ease.
Class size is limited to a maximum of 4 participants - to ensure time for questions and practice.
All classes require a deposit at the time of booking - this money is used to purchase materials (book, binder, paper, certificate) for your class and confirms your seat.
Classes can be scheduled at the student's request but are subject to my availability.
Most classes are set from 9 to 5 with an hour break. If this doesn't work for you - then let's break it up over two days of 4-hours each.
Students have the choice of receiving instruction in the following styles: Western Usui, Komyo Kai, or Jikiden
